Are you ready to rumble? Nearly everyone these days tune in for the globally televised WWF and to a lesser extent the WCW. Both sexes, the young and old and even your uncle Joe's poodle are wrestling fans.

Once upon a time wrestling was pretty well targeted at children and teenagers. There was no profanity and never any half-naked women on the sidelines cheering on their muscle heads. But now if you were to watch a broadcast of the WWF you will here things you wouldn't hear on a school bus and chances are you'll see things that normally you would have to pay your cable company an extra 10 bucks to let you watch. Or at the very least go to the back room of your video store and rent it.

Vince McMahon, in my opinion is a brilliant man he has turned a once mediocre sport into something that the world is obsessed with. Not a Monday night goes by that there aren't millions of people tuned into Raw is War. Better yet the pay per views; imagine how many millions of dollars they generate not only for the WWF but also even for the bars that show them once a month on that faithful Sunday.

So much revenue created, all from grown men beating each other up like it was gladiator times. And putting on a show that's more like "All My Children" then sports. Now I'm not saying that I disagree with McMahon's marketing strategy. After all he has created quite the demand for something that no one supplies better than his truly. So I guess the bottom line is. If it works do it and if it don't, don't do it. Even if adult men in tights beating each other up is your thing.
