![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TALK SHOW CRAZE If you hate em or love em you tune in everyday to see what they're gonna to do next. The talk show craze daytime TV's favorite right next to the beloved soap operas. What can you say about them? They're there every single day when you turn on your TV. Having exciting guests who symbolize society's ills and personify population stupidity. They make you laugh, turn your stomach, and sometimes they even make you cry. Until you watch these shows you may think that the guests are actors or showboats who make money from appearing on Ricki, Jenny Jones, or even the heavily censored Jerry Springer. Sometimes it's difficult to believe that the people are real It would make more sense and be easier to believe if the characters were just figments of the imagination from creative producers. So what are your favorite episodes? May be the silicon honeys who think they're "all that". Then there's those delightful paternity shows starring the sluts of the week with "I don't know who the daddy of my baby is". Or the very sickening "my girlfriend slept with my daddy, then my momma, my two brothers and even my 92 year old grandma. But Jerry I still love her". Sound familiar? No matter what the title of today's episode is or how much it disgusts us we still tune in. Could it be that we are truly intrigued by these people. Or is it more likely that we just get off on other people's misery. Sadly enough the latter is most likely the correct one out of the two. I guess the truth of the matter is, hate em or love em; we tune in to see how we will be disgusted next. So tune in tomorrow to see what Springer and his colleagues will dredge up from the bottom of society's cesspool. Entertaining us to the point of testing our ability to regurgitate. --HuDson |
