![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() FETISHES In the past sexual fetishes were for the most part considered taboo or kinky secrets people kept to themselves. Today with the huge advancement in pornography being freely available to anyone young or old who has an Internet connection, fetishes are becoming more commonplace in society. But what is it about them that are so appealing? I'm willing to bet that everyone reading this has a fetish of some kind. It may be something very small that turns you on like a persons eye color or voice, or it may be more complex and unusual such as obesity or an excessive amount of body hair. Fetishes are like a trigger for our sexual desires, something that is suppose to be non-sexual but drives a person wild. For example a person may like to be tied up during sex. It's not something that everyone would even remotely find interesting but others can't be sexually satisfied without it. Or maybe it's a persons legs and feet that turn you on. The desire could be so overwhelming that you may want to touch only those body parts over anything else on the person. Some people have some extreme fetishes like having another person pee on them or even being choked to the point of almost passing out (asphyxiation). So is it a bad thing? Is it something to be ashamed of? No, not unless what you are doing is causing you or your partner bodily harm or is life threatening. The only downfall to having a sexual fetish is that your partner must agree to let you do the things you want to. Or at least be willing to compromise so you can both be happy. What ever it is that turns you on don't be ashamed of it because in today's society nothing is too weird. --Lestat |
