When seeking a partner, either boy or girl, I believe that both sexes share the same inhibitions. They are both nervous; they’re both concerned over their appearances with everything from the style of their hair to the style of the clothes they wear. Physical attraction is the major factor and quite possibly the only factor when referring to the popular expression “love at first sight”.

Different people go for different things. And I have heard so many times from men and women and boys and girls that looks and physical attraction matters not to them. If you have said this, then I think your full of shit. Tell me how many people do we know would walk up to a person who they ever never met or spoke to before and ask them to go home with them or ask them out on a date if this person didn’t hold some level of attraction to the pursuer? How many? My guess is that no one is raising their hand. Different people may think it’s shallow or disgusting, and even sometimes down right cruel. And I guess for most intents and purposes they are right. It is cruel; lots of people don’t even get a chance to show what they could offer. But there is no way to change it. And trust me a lot of the time I would give anything to be able to change it. But it will never happen. It is just the way life is!

In order for a person’s personality, attitude or an intriguing mind to ever come into play there has to be an initial physical attraction. If there’s not a good personality or a good conversation, then it will never matter. So as for the first glance, in many cases - sadly but true - it may be that person’s only glance.
