What would you say is a good age to have sex for the first time? I mean an age where both parties are responsible and mature enough to handle it and of course be prepared for any consequences. Well its obvious that this age varies from person to person some people simply mature at an earlier age than others both physically and mentally.

When I was in my teen's early high school and even junior high it was rare thing to hear of. There were always a few people that were sexually active but it was just a few. And it seemed that those parties the female half would usually end up pregnant. I remember several girls who ended up this way, girls my age, a bit older, and even younger. Now it wasn't any great amount, but still there were obviously a few people who decided they were ready for that step. Any many cases they were with their boyfriend or girlfriend for a long time by a longtime I mean around the year mark of a relationship. Now maybe they were ready, and it might have blossomed into a mature relationship and they might even be together today. But in most cases I doubt it. So look at what they loss, their freedom the freedom that young kids should have, and they loss their innocence probably the most valuable thing that a youth has. Because once you reach a certain age all that innocence dies and you realize what life well hold for you.

In this time I see more and more younger people say in their mid teens having sex. I wonder how things have changed in such a short amount of time. More people believe they are ready for that step. Now whether or not they actually are is something that time and their actions decide. But still at that age I can't see how they can be. Just a short time I heard something, which I found quite amusing. I heard a young girl in my neighborhood talk to a few people who were a bit older but still not that old. Not that mature anyway. Anyway the other two are going out with each other and this younger girl says to them "b'ys I don't know why you're in a relationship your only young, you got lots of time" Meanwhile she was about 2 years younger. And this girl was known to have been around the block. More than once. I'd even go as far as to say that she has probably seen more action than many of the thirty year olds I know. But nonetheless she did I guess have the experience to know what she was talking about and she is about 16 years old it struck me funny.

I think the world is just growing up way to fast. Our youth by the time they hit 15 are no longer youth. They find out what its all about before you can say the word maturity.
