![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() WHERE'S THE EXIT? All right boys and girls, this is it! The ultimate test of courage and morality, What do you do when your in a relationship that's lost it's flame or your just sick of a lot of shit that you have to put up with from your spouse. The following is two scenarios given to me by a couple of friends. Picture this, ever since high school you've been with her. Your whole life is based around her. And as for as long as you can remember every decision you've ever made included her. She is all that you need and all that you want. Every waking moment is spent thinking about her. Well, that's the best case scenario. But what happens if that love deteriorates and misery takes over all those nice feelings of happiness. Now I'm not saying that men are the only one's who go through such transitions with their girls. I'm just telling it from a man's point of view. For the simple reason that I am a guy. These situations do apply to women just as much as men. How do you tell someone whom you have been with the better half of your mature life that you no longer love them? What makes it even worst is if they're still mad about you. How do you break it to them with breaking them? No matter how much sleep you lose or how many butterflies you feel on how bad this is going to be, trust me, it's going to be 10 times worst. If you know the reason that you feel like crap all the time is because of the situation your in or more specifically the relationship your in. Then there's no question you have to end it no matter how painful it's going to be. So my advice, if it comes to this be honest in what you say. Don't make up some bullshit reason as to why it's not workin out, just come out with it. And 2nd of all be gentle because you don't know for sure the reaction they're going to have to this until it's all said and done. So no matter what, if you care about this person be gentle with them and careful what you say and how you say it. All in all to do something like this while still caring about the person is a very difficult thing to have to go through by both parties. You have to be courageous to do it and you have to know where your priorities and your morals are to do it in the best possible way. Referring to the saying about women that it's near impossible to figure them out. Brings me to my next search for an exit. What happens if you're with someone and everything is going great at first? But then you feel things slip. You don't want to admit that it's failing but it's spiraling out of control and deep down you know that there is no regaining what's been lost. Every little thing comes out wrong or is misinterpreted and misunderstood. Everything you thought you had with this person is slowly being destroyed right in front of your eyes. Before you know it the admiration you once had for this person is replaced by bitterness. Then it hits you this exit that were talking about is the front door.... Bye bye! Granted it didn't take much courage or moral questioning. But it was something that needed to be done. So... let be said, so it is done. -HuDson |
