Well, it's that time of year again, actually I guess in fact that time of year has passed again. Yes the NHL playoffs and for the people who are sports illiterate NHL is hockey. Sorry, I guess everyone did know that! But anyway moving on, first I want to say congratulations Ray Bourque, it's about time you got to kiss Stanley, (as perverted and gay that sounded) Now I will be honest, myself personally I am a Toronto Maple Leaf fan. And above that I'm a Canadian fan, not the Montreal Canadians either. I'm talking about Canadian teams.

Going on from there, it kind of bothers me, when I see all the Canadian teams getting put out in the second round, not that there is any great number of our teams in the NHL anyway. I just think it's too bad that a few of the ones we do have can't make it a bit further. Well, I guess it's not their fault that they can't get it together, but we can't really blame anyone else now can we? What bothers me about this is the fact that hockey was always a Canadian sport, granted many people still believe it to be. But I don't. It's to the point that it is even marketed towards Americans, Hollywood have even taken a bite out of it. The Mighty Ducks ring a bell?

So right about now your saying to yourself "this guy really doesn't like hockey" I don't think that's actually true, I used to love hockey. I used to own the most cards out of anyone in my 6th grade class. But I just find it difficult to appreciate it anymore, as a Canadian, I think the sport is dying, a slow painful death. Anyway I guess that's enough negative energy for anybody who still lives for this game and actually reads this article.

So in closing, GO Colorado, at least they use to be a Canadian team. I think basketball is the way to go for the sports fan, but hey that's just me!
