What makes a good person go bad? What causes an innocent child to turn into an adult monster? Were they beat by their parents or abused by their grandparents? Perhaps they were always picked on and laughed at by their peers and classmates. It's near impossible to say for sure. There are never any concrete answers for these questions. May be it's just a sickness, a mental illness that doesn't generate from heredity. It's just there like the darkness in the night.

Serial killers, the darkest criminals in the history of man and society. Law enforcement officials who investigate serial murders are always bewildered as to why a person could have executed such a horrendous crime such as murder. Criminologists who study serial killers have a great deal of trouble determining why and how someone could kill in the fashion they did. You can always name the cliché. Mother loved him too much or not enough. May be he was molested by a family member or witnessed someone else being hurt in a similar fashion. Whatever the reasoning there was a chain of events that lead to a very serious reaction. The destruction of innocence and the creation of a flesh and blood monster who will haunt us all.

After reading this you may ask, how this unexplained? It's unexplained because "the experts" can never build a template to map these killers. They kill with passion, lust and desire not for necessity or greed. It's a scary thought and an unexplained one.
