![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MIND CONTROL What would you do if every thought you ever had were somebody else's? Or if every feeling you thought was yours, wasn't? It's a scary thought to entertain that something or someone could control your mind other than yourself. If this were so, to what lengths would this control exist? Perhaps it would be only minor. But there is also the possibility that it could extend to every aspect of your life. In any case, neither is acceptable. A person's mind is a vast realm where scientists have still only begun to scratch the surface. That's what the general population believes to be true. Would it be totally impossible to accept that governments have learned how to access more of the human brain than we know about? May be they have developed ways to enter a person's mind and steel their emotions without the person ever being aware of it. Whether you know it or not, mind control exists on many levels. It doesn't need to be some fancy tool or device used to take over your brain waves. It can be something as small as a wristwatch or necklace. Hypnotism growing widely popular is in my belief a form of mind control. The power of suggestion can be a powerful weapon as well as a dangerous one when dealing with a person's emotions and thoughts. It used to be that there was always a certain level of training involved with hypnotism, but as we move into the 21st century knowledge of all kinds is becoming increasingly available. Now, anybody with the will to learn may do so with relative ease. The only thing about this form of mind control is in order for it to be successfully done on a person the person has to be willing. You can't walk up to a total stranger and hypnotize them if they don't want to be hypnotized. (Not yet anyway). Throughout history there as been cases documented where people have given up their will to someone else. More often than not it wasn't by choice. There are people who are considered very intelligent and are able to manipulate people into doing what they want done. It may be charisma or it could be fear that drives the victim to comply. But for whatever the reason, it can be dangerous. People who are able to do this are found as being the leader in religious groups or more bluntly, cults. So beware who you be friend, they could be out to steel the very thing that makes us human, our thoughts. ---HuDson |
